Wedding Italy I do higly recommend Cortona which is situated in the southermost part of Tuscany, near towns such as Arezzo and Orvieto. This little hill town is the perfect place to be centered in Italy.

Recently made known to a larger public due to the books and film of Frances Mayers - Under The Tuscan Sun, Cortona really is, as described in these works, a medieval little paradise of great food, olive groves, poppies in May, sunflowers in June, sun, culture and relax.

The Town Hall of Cortona is a stunning medieval palace, in the historic central part of the of the town. The room inside, where the civil weddings are held, has been for the last four centuries, and is still, the seat of the assembly of the town's government.

The Churches in Cortona also are breathtaking.. from the Cathedral in the centre to the church of Santa Maria Nuova..very friendly and kind is the priest who takes care of the churches.
